Gifu Prefecture Medical Institution Guidance System - This is an English database of all medical institutions in Gifu Prefecture.
You can search by foreign languages available, hospital name, location, symptoms/treatment, consultation hours, and telephone number.
Even if a medical institution only offers consultation services in Japanese, you can still do a search for medical institutions in English and find someone to go to the hospital with you and interpret.
The data is updated annually and is current as of March 2009.
4   Link   International Mental Health Professionals of Japan
IMHPJ is a multidisciplinary professional association of therapists who provide mental health services to the international communities in Japan. The IMHPJ was set up by Jim McRae who is involved in the training of Prefectural Advisors and CLAIR Programme Coordinators.

This handy site was set up by the Kanagawa International Foundation. It has medical questionnaires in a variety of different languages, which are meant to be used to help explain your problems/symptons to the doctor. The questionnaires are broken down by area of of medicene once you click on the langauge that you need on the first page.
