1   Link   Rikaichan
Rikaichan is a handy little add-on for Mozilla Firefox web browser. It brings up readings and meanings of Japanese words just by scrolling your mouse over them! Make sure to download the English/Japanese Dictionary from the site as well or it wont work.
2   Link   Eijiro Online Dictionary @ ALC
Eijiro is one of the best online dictionaries around. It is good for both Japanese to English and vice versa. The only downside is that it doesn’t give readings, but if you use Rikaichan (above) then you will have no problems.
3   Link   SpeedAnki
SpeedAnki is a great flash card site for memorizing new words, and it is set up by JLPT level which is really handy.
4   Link   Jim Breen's Online Dictionary
Jim Breen's is probably the most extensive Kanji dictionary available online.
5   Link   Japanese Language Proficiency Test
The name says it all really!
