This is a gesture game using vocab cards and flyswatters. Have the students separate into two teams and form two lines. Choose one student and have them stand out in front of the class. Give the swatters to one person in each team. The ALT shows the chosen student a small card that nobody else can see. The class asks ‘What are you doing?` the student does not respond verbally but acts out the action shown on the card. The students with the swatters then try and guess what the answer may be and hit the appropriate card on the black board whilst shouting the answer. |
